Asbury Park Boardwalk, an historic waterfront property at the Jersey Shore (www.apboardwalk.com), together with the Wooden Walls Project, invite guests to visit the Boardwalk’s fifth annual artistic holiday sculpture, The Giving Tree, in the Grand Arcade at the historic Convention Hall. As a centerpiece of the city’s arts and music community, this year’s design by internationally renowned, locally based artist Porkchop and Asbury Park artist Bradley Hoffer features a unique “traditional” tree outline with custom lighting. Created in collaboration with Jason Dermer of Asbury Audio, the lighting transforms the Grand Arcade into a warm holiday wonderland. The innovative 17-foot tree, constructed entirely of cardboard, offers an environmentally responsible evolution of the Boardwalk’s holiday tradition and a modern rendition of a cherished symbol meant to spark the community’s festive and creative spirit. Highlighting the Boardwalk’s support of local arts and charities and serving as the centerpiece for the Asbury Park Holiday Bazaar, it stands as a testament to creativity and sustainability. The Giving Tree will be available for viewing from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. November 26th through December 30th. For more information, visit www.apboardwalk.com.
