Bones Bumpers and Bagels Car Show Fundraiser
100% of proceeds going towards the pediatric bone health fund, and we look forward to your support this year. Participation along with contributions play a vital role in supporting the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center Pediatric Bone Health Fund, which is dedicated to advancing children’s bone health research. Currently, we are conducting an IRB study looking at the dosing of Vitamin D. The goal of this study is to create a widely accepted weight-based rather than age-based dosing regimen for Vitamin D. The existing RDA age-based Vitamin D dosing regimen does not work well for most people. Vitamin D plays a significant role in bone health and healing, and it is imperative that our patients and the general population are getting enough. Our premier prospective IRB approved research study will help elucidate appropriate dosing of vitamin D for children based on weight rather than age. This protocol does not exist but is very important to our children. The event features cars to highlight that just as cars need maintenance to work well, so does the growing body of a child. It will take place Sunday, June 8th, 2025, from 9 am-1pm at 55 Madison Ave Morristown, NJ. For more information regarding the car show, a flyer with a QR code to our website has been attached. The website has links to donate, register a car, and will have access to our online sponsor book. Sponsors will be honored in this book and at the event on the sponsors' board. For larger sponsors, with donations before May 1, names will be assigned to trophies given out to car owners.
