Candlelight Vigil to Remember Gun Violence Victims and Survivors
The third annual Silent Candlelight Vigil to Remember Gun Violence Victims and Survivors will take place on Wednesday December 10 from 6 pm to 6:30 pm. As part of the 14th national remembrance of Sandy Hook and other gun violence victims, we will stand silently along Lockwood with candles. Battery powered candles and information for passers-by will be provided. Meet outside Webster Groves Presbyterian Church , 45 W. Lockwood at 5:50 pm to get your materials and instructions. This event will be held rain or shine. Please dress for the weather. Sponsored by Webster Groves Presbyterian Church, this event is a gathering of people to remember and honor those impacted by gun violence as well as to draw attention the extremely serious issue of gun violence and to provide individual actions you can take against gun violence in our state and nation. All are welcome to attend this reflective event which provides a space for shared grief and support.
