Jim Schoemehl Run

This year’s beneficiary is Emily Khan, a Nerinx Hall alumna and mother of a student at The College School in Webster Groves. Emily was diagnosed with ALS in December 2024, and the run will support her and her family during this difficult time. The Jim Schoemehl Run began in 2001 when Webster Groves High School students created the event to help Jim Schoemehl, the husband of a teacher battling ALS. Since then, it has become a tradition, with Marketing 2 students leading all aspects of the event, from planning to promotion. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to participate in either the 5K or 10K routes. Registration is available online at jims5k.org. For more information, to register, or to donate, visit jims5k.org or email jims5krun@gmail.com. Join us on May 3rd to support Emily Khan and help make a difference for those living with ALS!
