The program, in partnership with Conversation Builds Character, begins at noon at the St. Louis Kaplan Holocaust Museum with a screening of Lest We Forget, a documentary following photographer Luigi Toscano as he captures portraits and stories of Holocaust survivors around the world. A panel discussion will follow featuring Toscano, Dee Dee Simon of Conversation Builds Character, and Holocaust survivor, Oskar Jakob, offering insight into memory, storytelling, and Holocaust education. At 2:00 pm, attendees may join a guided tour of the exhibition at The District with Toscano. A round-trip bus will depart from the Museum and return at approximately 4:30 pm.
The event is free and open to the public. Bus tickets are $22 and include transportation and a boxed lunch; advance purchase is required and space is limited.
