The SIUE Department of Biological Sciences is hosting Dr. Ashley Morhardt, a paleoneurologist from WashU for the Ralph Axtel Memorial Lecture. This lecture is also tied to the Department's annual Darwin Day event- a celebration of Charles Darwin's birthday (Feb. 12th). Dr. Morhardt's talk is titled "If we only had a brain!: anatomy and evolution in extinct dinosaurs". The event is free to students, faculty, staff and the general public and open to all ages. There will be refreshments and light snacks at the event, as well as a Darwin-themed cake to enjoy after the lecture.
