2025 St. Louis Soap Box Derby
The All-American Soap Box Derby is a youth racing program for boys and girls ages 7-18 that has run nationally since 1934. The regional St. Louis race has a tradition since at least the 1950's. Today, we race down Macklind Ave. on The Hill and have been for over 15 years. The St. Louis chapter of the Jaycees is the founding chapter of the worldwide JCI organization. The Jaycees are a service organization for 18-40 year olds and the St. Louis chapter's big event each year is St. Louis' very own Soap Box Derby. Come see the cars race and bring young people interested in racing soap box in the future so they can see STEM and car racing in action.
