Taekwondo Youth (ages7-9), Taekwondo Families and Taekwondo Beginners (ages 10-100)

Learn Taekwondo and have fun as a family. Anyone age 10 and up with or without another family member, but it is really a lot of fun for the whole family. Learn self-defense, forms, Olympic sparring, point sparring. Classes are geared to the student with warmups designed to meet the needs of all ages and physical requirements. Instructors show students how to modify exercises so they can be done by everyone. We offer tournament competition where students can try out their skills and earn medals. Sessions are 12 weeks in length. Cost for these remodel sessions is $50 for resident and non-resident. Uniforms available first night of class. Cost of uniform ranges from $25-$35. AAU membership ($22) is also required and purchased the first night of class. During the centers remodel, these classes will meet on Saturday mornings beginning at 10:15. For anyone interested in classes, but not able to attend Saturday mornings or for those wanting a 2nd class, classes for TKD Youth, TKD Beginner, and TKD Families will also be offered at the Kirkwood Baptist Church at 511 Woodlawn on Thursday evenings beginning at 6:00.
