Black Family Wellness Expo
The St. Louis Cluster of The Links, Incorporated (St. Louis (MO) Chapter, Gateway (IL) Chapter, and Archway (MO) Chapter) hosts an awesome event designed to improve the health and wellness of the Black Family. This effort in St. Louis, is aimed at addressing multiple health and economic issues that negatively impact the health and quality of life for many in this community. The Expo will raise awareness about conditions that shorten or impact the quality of life for those in the Black community. The entire family is invited to attend, from children to senior citizen. Some of the issues the Black Family
Wellness Expo will address include: breast and prostate cancer awareness; kidney disease; heart health; mental health awareness and resources; free screenings for cholesterol, glucose, prostate, hemoglobin AIC, and blood pressure. There will be vendors, line dancing, a DJ, fun and giveaways for adults and kids.
