You're invited to the 2025 KWANZAA Holiday Expo. Come shop, eat, learn and support local businesses as we honor the fourth principle of KWANZAA: Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics). Bring the whole family out to experience an Afrikan American holiday tradition, great entertainment, delicious food and a community gathering. Vendors will be selling artwork, hand crafted jewelry, clothing, natural body care products, books, sculpture and so much more. We'll have the KWANZAA House where you can learn about the holiday and how to celebrate it, along with the KWANZAA Children's Village where the young ones can enjoy themselves while you shop. You can also register for Sankofa Rising, a job readiness program for people interested in a job or career in the arts industry. Performers include saxaphonists Rhoda G and Antoine Washington, Spirit of Angela African Dance Company, poets Ronnie Amiyn and IBENAGOD, violinist Bell Darris and comedian Jevon Westmoland. Workshops include Artsy-Preneur led by Malena Amusa, meditation sessions with Que Eshun, and Sickle Cell Anemia: Get the Facts and Be Educated. Register on Eventbrite for free tickets at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2025-kwanzaa-holiday-expo-tickets-1962553271666?aff=ebdssbdestsearch. If you come early enough on Saturday or Sunday, you'll get a free KWANZAA Holiday Expo shopping bag for as long as supplies last.
