Teen Book Club at the Windsor Branch Library
The Windsor Branch of the Jefferson County Library is hosting a Teen Book Club! The first book will be Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. Copies can be picked up beginning Saturday, February 1st.
Uglies is a captivating young adult novel that takes place in a future world where everyone undergoes a mandatory surgery at age 16 to become "pretty". The story follows Tally Youngblood, a 15-year old girl eagerly awaiting her own transformation. However, her journey takes unexpected turns as she learns more about the cost of beauty and the dark secrets of the society she lives in.
