Kirkwood Fire Department Toy Drive
Kirkwood, MO, December 8th, 2024 – For over a decade, the Kirkwood Fire Department, in collaboration with the Marines and Toys for Tots, has been dedicated to making the holiday season brighter for those in need. Once again this year, we're turning the Fire Department's engine bay into Santa's workshop, creating an enchanting holiday atmosphere for visitors.
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy festive decorations and even capture a photo with Santa himself. When you bring a new, unwrapped toy, you can have your picture taken with Santa against a backdrop featuring a fire truck. All the gifts generously donated will find their way to children throughout the St. Louis area who might otherwise miss out on the joy of holiday presents. Join us in creating magical moments for these children this holiday season.
The event is set to take place from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 8th, 2024, at Kirkwood Fire House 1, located at 137 West Argonne, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Our mission is to "stuff" the fire station with toys for the less fortunate, and the Marines will be present to assist. Children can enjoy coloring activities and immerse themselves in holiday decorations.
For those who are unable to attend the event, the fire department will be accepting toy donations at any of its fire stations, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, starting November 7, 2024. You can drop off your donations, - Station 1, 137 West Argonne, Kirkwood – at Station 2, 11804 Big Bend, Kirkwood OR Station 3, 1321 West Essex, Kirkwood.
