No Cover Café, Live Music, January 9, 2026

On Friday January 9, 2026 @ 7:00, the No Cover Café, will feature performances from outstanding Connecticut artists Brian Larney, Dave O’Hagan, and Leo Sunday on the Main Stage. The Emerging Artist stage will feature Fred Pomeroy during the first intermission. On The Main Stage Brian Larney is a Connecticut-based singer-songwriter known for his sharp melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and genre-bending sound that blends indie pop, folk, and power pop. A prolific artist and dynamic live performer, he delivers songs that balance vulnerability with wry wit and cinematic sweep. With comparisons to Elvis Costello, Ron Sexsmith, and Neil Finn, Larney has built a reputation for crafting intelligent, hook-driven music that resonates deeply with audiences. Dave O’Hagan has been playing guitar and writing songs since 1970. He's from Enfield, CT and has performed in several local bands. His current band, "Shovelhead". Shovelhead just celebrated their 28th year. Dave has had the pleasure to share the stage with national acts such as Molly Hatchet, The Outlaws, 38 Special, Blackfoot, The Marshall Tucker Band, and Artemus Pyle Band. Several of Dave's original songs reflect that he is a veteran and a patriot. Leo Sunday is a singer/songwriter/storyteller based in Central Connecticut and has been performing for over 40 years. Leo founded “Songwriters In the Kitchen”, a 125 member organization, to help celebrate and develop the careers of songwriters and their original music. In addition to performing around the Northeast, Leo hosts monthly Connecticut Songwriter trips to Nashville where he helps further develop professional networks and promote/perform original music. On The Emerging Artist Stage Fred Pomeroy is one of many siblings in the musical Pomeroy family. Fred loves to cover deep tracks and the lesser-known songs. He has a great country voice and plays his trusty guitars with a warm style.
