10th Annual South Florida Behavioral Health Conference: The Power of Prevention


United Way of Broward County’s Commission on Behavioral Health & Drug Prevention, in collaboration with the Broward Behavioral Health Coalition (BBHC) and Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), will host the 10th Annual South Florida Behavioral Health Conference: The Power of Prevention on Wednesday, May 21 and Thursday, May 22 at the Broward County Convention Center. The two-day event will promote community awareness and support of behavioral health and substance use prevention. The Annual two-day Behavioral Health Conference serves as a platform for professionals in the behavioral and mental health fields to share insights, research, and best practices in promoting mental health and well-being. The conference emphasizes the critical role of prevention strategies in enhancing overall behavioral health. The Conference will feature renowned subject matter experts ranging from psychologists, behavioral health clinicians, professors, trauma and grief specialists, and prevention specialists who will provide crucial continuing education seminars, workshops, and keynote sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from these thought leaders, network with industry peers, and discuss issues related to research, policy and practice. Licensed Clinicians and Certified Professionals can earn CEU credits. Master of Ceremonies will be CEO and Founder of Vanessa James Media Vanessa James.
