Winter by the Water
Winter in Seattle doesn’t have to mean staying indoors — it means showing up, rain and all.
Seafair’s inaugural Winter by the Water festival invites you to rediscover Seattle’s new waterfront on Feb. 21, 2026, while supporting local businesses along the way.
This one-day, walkable festival runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering passport-only access to exclusive experiences at participating waterfront shops, restaurants, and venues. Expect:
- Seasonal tastings, warm bites, and snacks
- Live entertainment
- Family-friendly fun, including visits from the Seattle Seafair Pirates and Seafair Clowns
- A hydroplane on display, bringing Seafair flair to the winter waterfront
- Plenty of cozy spots to step inside, warm up, and linger
The first 100 passport holders will receive a co-branded Seafair & ExplorePNW umbrella.
At 4 p.m., the celebration continues with a special indoor concert at Pier 66 featuring Smokey Brights and The Talbott Brothers, hosted at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center — the perfect warm finale to a festive day by the water.
