A TRIBUTE TO QUINCY JONES
At the
MADRONA GRACE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF SEATTLE
On February 22, 2025, at 7:00 PM, the Madrona Grace Presbyterian Church will present a special Tribute to a late and local giant in the music industry, Quincy Jones. Doors open at 6:15 for dinner, followed by a 6:30 art discussion (Thaddeus Honneycutt & Christopher Coleman presenting), with the concert beginning promptly at 7:00 PM. For the last year, the Madrona Grace Presbyterian Church has been sponsoring a Jazz and Blues Concert Series featuring local legends: Lonnie Williams, Mark Dalton and Darryl Barber, all seasoned professionals in the music industry, who deliver exceptional performances whenever they play. Ten musicians will be on hand to honor this international giant, playing songs from his vast cannon of musical selections with which he was associated. You don’t want to miss this impactful, entertaining, and groundbreaking event.
