La Mar Bellevue Lunar New Year x The Mak Fai Dragon & Lion Dance Association
On Saturday, February 21, La Mar Bellevue will host a vibrant Lunar New Year celebration highlighted by a traditional Lion and Dragon Dance performance by the Mak Fai Dragon & Lion Dance Association. Beginning around 6:30 p.m. during peak dinner service, the performance will bring festive energy, cultural tradition, and symbolic wishes of prosperity to the restaurant.
In honor of the holiday, La Mar Bellevue will also offer a special menu inspired by Chifa — the Chinese-Peruvian culinary tradition that blends the flavors and techniques of both cultures. Overseen by Executive Chef Kaoru Chang, the menu celebrates “prosperity, tradition, and bold flavor,” with dishes such as duck tiradito, Dungeness crab golden chaufa, and more.
