Styrofoam Collection Event
Kitsap County Solid Waste Division is hosting a free Styrofoam Collection Event at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds. Kitsap residents are welcome to bring one vehicle load per household. Styrofoam drop off will be at the Sheep Barn or the Van Zee Building, at 1200 NW Fairgrounds Rd., Bremerton, WA. Entrance to the event is at the intersection of Tibardis Rd NW and Fairgrounds Rd NW. We'll have signs and volunteer staff directing you.
What's accepted?
Clean and dry household Styrofoam, including:
Packaging material; Blocks; Coolers; Packing peanuts; Takeout boxes (must be clean and dry); Meat trays and cups; #6 expanded polystyrene (EPS).
Please remove any tape and labels. Styrofoam with excess tape or labels may be rejected.
