Benefit Concert for the United Churches Emergency Fund
This will be a Choral Festival with a Broadway sing along for the benefit of the United Churches Emergency Fund. Website: www.ucef-seattle.org. Since 1986, UCEF's mission has been to provide financial assistance to people in Northeast Seattle to help them stay in their homes and off the streets.
Our work is guided by compassionate listening, respect for all, and careful stewardship of the funds we receive. We provide service without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship status, religion, gender, disability, or age.
We provide emergency rent and utility assistance, often leveraging assistance from similar nonprofits, for people living in zip codes 98103, 98105, 98115, and 98125. In our last fiscal year, July - June, UCEF served 452 people including 154 dependent children.
