Sometimes we aim for contrast, sometimes for compliment, sometimes we lean on tradition, other times we pair food from wildly different geographies and cultures. There's no secret society or handshake for pairing wine and food effectively, but it can feel like alchemy at times. We'll cover some basic principles to help you pair your favorite dishes with great (and appropriate) wine.
