Strings of Memory
Violist Christina Ebersohl-Van Scyoc and pianist Melissa Terrall will present Strings of Memory, an evocative program for viola and piano celebrating the musical traditions of Mexico and the Arab world, on Saturday, March 14th at Christ Episcopal Church in Tacoma.
The program features José Pablo Moncayo’s Viola Sonata alongside Dia Succari’s vibrant 5 Syrian Dances, exploring how composers express cultural identity, tradition, and emotion through classical music. Blending powerful national voices with intimate solo works, Strings of Memory invites audiences on a journey across continents through sound.
