Join us for a hands-on Ecological Restoration Work Party, with Stewardship Partners, where you’ll learn about riparian restoration, elk co-habitation, salmon ecosystems, and erosion control—while making a real impact on the land!
We’ll start at our Outdoor Classroom with a brief introduction to local restoration efforts on Farm, and across the Snoqualmie Valley, before embarking on a guided walk, exploring the connections between waterways, wildlife, and plant life. Then, roll up your sleeves for an hour of hands-on restoration work, cutting back invasive species and reinforcing previously planted native flora. We’ll wrap up with a walk back to the Classroom for a debrief, reflections, and take-home resources to continue your learning. Each group will get to pot your own native plant to take home!
Whether you’re passionate about conservation or just looking to get outside and give back, this is a great opportunity to engage with the land, meet like-minded community members, and be part of the restoration movement.
All ages and experience levels welcome—let’s restore and learn together!
