Abstract Self-Portrait Workshop at BallardWorks

The Abstract Self-Portrait Workshop is an opportunity to get together for a couple of hours, to mess around with paint and pencils, to have fun conversations about how beautiful we all are, to discover alternatives to traditional portraiture and to go home with a self-portrait that you can frame and hang in your home, to remind yourself that you are more than just a pretty face! The cost of this workshop is: $50.00 All materials are included. Maximum number of attendees:10 The workshop will take place in studio 1C at BallardWorks - 2856 NW Market Street - 98107 We will start the session with a brief introduction to the subject. We will look at some examples and I will guide you through the process. After that, we'll get straight into it! You don't need to have any experience with acrylic or pencils. The idea is to explore the use of colors, lines, textures, shapes and to have fun. The resulting artwork can be as simple or complicated as you want. Please take a look at my website to familiarize yourself with my work. In 2 hours you will be able to produce a piece of art with depth, good composition and personal meaning.
