Bainbridge Island Fix-it Fair at BARN
Kitsap County Solid Waste, in partnership with Sustainable Bainbridge and Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network (BARN), is hosting a Fix-it Fair on Bainbridge Island!
Join us for this free community event where skilled volunteers help diagnose and repair broken household items—while sharing valuable repair knowledge.
At the Bainbridge Island Fix-it Fair, volunteers can help repair:
Mendable clothing and textiles (e.g., tablecloths, curtains, jeans—sorry, no zippers); Computers and PCs; Small household appliances (e.g., lamps, vacuums, toasters); and Jewelry.
What to Bring:
Manuals or repair guides (if available); Special parts specific to your item; Matching thread, fabric, or yarn (we’ll have some available, but bringing a color match is recommended).
