Under Fire: Sacred Art in Today’s Ukraine - An Exhibition Featuring Ukrainian Artists

"Under Fire: Sacred Art in Today's Ukraine" presents a remarkable testament to artistic resilience and spiritual tradition in the face of war. This exhibition at A/NT Gallery brings together an extraordinary collection of works from artists at the Lviv National Academy of Arts, showcasing both traditional icon painting and contemporary interpretations of sacred themes. ABOUT THE EXHIBITION Dating back to the 10th century, Ukrainian icon painting has served as a profound medium for spiritual expression, characterized by otherworldly compositions and radiant colors that create contemplative spaces for divine encounter.
