Acting for Film

Over the course of the week, students will learn how to translate their love of acting on stage and convert it to the screen! Along with playing theatre games, students will practicing acting techniques for film, learning the names of different camera angles and how to film a self-tape. Students will film a short scene, edit it, and present it on Friday as part of their showcase. Students will also get to learn and practice a short monologue that they can use for auditions in the future, leaving them with a digital goodie bag of their hard work in class!
