Rest & Reset: A Calm Night with Books and Community

Let’s be honest: making friends as an adult is hard. Making friends in Seattle? Even harder. That’s why we’re here! Silent Book Club Capitol Hill is a low-key, no-pressure space to grab a bite, read whatever you want, and be around chill people. All without forced small talk or name tags. There’s no assigned reading, no pressure to share, and no agenda beyond creating a space where people can connect, unwind, and read together. We’re taking over Skillet in Capitol Hill for a night of cozy community, comfort food, and collective quiet. Whether you’re a bookworm, an introvert, new in town, or just craving something that feels easy and real — this is for you. Whether you come solo (a lot of people do!) or with friends, you’ll be met with good vibes, welcoming people, and a safe space to spend your Tuesday night. What to expect: 🍽 7:00–7:30 PM – Arrive, order food, settle in 📖 7:30–8:30 PM – Silent reading hour 💬 8:30–9:00 PM – Optional hangout time So if you've been looking for your people — or just a reason to leave the house on a Tuesday night — this is your sign. 📚✨ RSVP now and come claim your cozy corner of community. We’d love to have you.
