The Music of Stan Getz with the Pete Carney Quartet on February 21 at the Unitarian Universalist SRQ
February 21 - Pete Carney performs “The Music of Stan Getz” and more. Carney’s tribute to the music of Dave Brubeck was one of the highlights of last season. The State College of Florida’s Director of Jazz Studies, returns this season with his quartet performing the music of Stan Getz and Songbook Standards. Joining Carney are Geoff Neuman, Josh Hindmarsh and Rod Alnord. From 2 - 4 pm at the Unitarian Universalists Sarasota 3975 Fruitville Rd. Admission paid at the door. Jazz Club members $15 - Guests $20.
