Sarasota Pineapple Drop Carnival

Enjoy a two-day carnival with rides, games and fair food for the whole family, part of the annual Pineapple Drop Block Party on Dec. 31 featuring live music and DJs, a New Year's countdown and fireworks. Event admission is free. Unlimited ride wristbands (valid Tuesday and till 6pm Wednesday) are $37 ($35 cash) on site till 5pm Wednesday or online before 1pm Tuesday for $29, 2/$55 or 4/$99. Ride tickets, valid anytime, are available on site and discounted online pre-sale for $45/50 tickets + 1 free ride. (Rides take 2+ tickets each.) Midway hours: 1-11pm Tuesday and 1pm - 1am Wednesday.
