Arts Advocates Luncheon: Heroes of the Silver Screen with Gus Mollasis

Learn about memorable screen stars such as James Cagney and Pat O’Brian, Bogey and Bergman, Frank Capra, Jimmy Stewart and other legends who influenced the movie stars of today. Writer, producer and film maker Gus Mollasis will take us through history with film clips of these heroes in some of their most famous roles that elevated this art form in our culture. Gus Mollasis is co-creator of the award-winning PBS series “Diamonds Along the Highway” focusing on Florida’s people, places and history. He has used his love and knowledge of film to educate, entertain and engage audiences in film, the art form we all love. $45 for Arts Advocates members, $50 for non-members (includes lunch).
