A judge’s ruling in late 2025 made open carry of handguns and concealed weapons legal for eligible Floridians. “Open Carry” panelists include Pat Robinson, City of Sarasota deputy city manager/public safety administrator; Carol Rescigno, Sarasota chapter of Brady United; and attorney Jeff Young of the law office Manasota Gun Lawyer.
