Joe Thayer | Mattison's Forty-One
Joe Thayer grew up in Bradenton, Florida, in a family where music was a way of life—gospel songs filled the home, and he was immersed in instruments from an early age. After years of studying piano, clarinet, and performing in orchestras and jazz bands, he joined the family’s blue-collar business, never straying far from songwriting and performing. In 2008, he left the big rig behind to pursue music full-time and now performs, writes, and produces from his own studio and house concert venue. His creative work is inspired by a life rich in grit, gospel, and the road.
