Operation Green Light: Driver License Reinstatement
Suspended license? Outstanding court fines or fees? The Sarasota Clerk’s Office is holding our Operation Green Light April 3-5!
Operation Green Light is an in-person, statewide Driver License reinstatement event program. During Operation Green Light, the Sarasota County Clerk and Comptroller's office has been authorized to waive collection agency fees — some as high as 30 percent — for anyone who pays off their court obligations, including traffic tickets, in full or signs up for a monthly payment plan. The Clerk and Comptroller's office will also help customers who are eligible to reinstate their suspended driver license for an additional fee.
Customers with an overdue Sarasota County traffic ticket or court case has been turned over to a collection agency benefit by having collection agency fee waived when they either:
• Pay in full; or
• Enter into a payment plan agreement, and make an initial down payment.
Customers with multiple outstanding tickets or court fines will be able to enter in to a consolidated payment plan during Operation Green Light.
Customers wanting to participate in Operation Green Light have the option of two convenient Sarasota County locations:

NOTE: We will accept on-time payments for all Sarasota County traffic tickets and court fines for customers participating in Operation Green Light.
