Cassie Jean and the Fireflies - Sarasota Release Party
Cassie Jean & the Fireflies are a Florida-based Americana/roots-rock band fronted by singer-songwriter Cassie Jean Barbaresi and guitarist Rich Odato. Their debut album Heart over Head hit #125 on the AMA Americana Albums Radio Chart and earned a spot on Roots Music Report's "Top 100 Alt-Folk Albums of 2022."
September 25th at Fogartyville is a homecoming: the band's first release party in 2022 took the form of a live WSLR performance straight into a Fresh Fridays concert on Sarasota's Main Street. This show will be a release party celebrating the band's newest record. Expect soulful vocals, lush arrangements, and uplifting, story-driven original songs delivered with the kind of energy that turns first-time listeners into fans.
This is a full-band performance. Joining Cassie Jean and Rich will be Scott Hunt (fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, vocals), Joey Interrante (drums and percussion), and Chad Clifford (upright bass).
