Hometown Genius - Sarasota's Best Composers
An incredibly creative evening of choral and instrumental music by Don Bryn, Roger Zare, Jonathan Godfrey, Steph Davis, Steven Phillips, John Behnke, and others who have a hometown connection. With premiers of three commissioned works, the concert features choir, string ensemble, percussion, keyboards, classical guitar, banjo, and more. We hope you'll join us for this special evening! "Piano Sextet in D" - by Don Bryn - for strings and piano
"Carillon" - by John Behnke - for pipe organ
"Obsession" - by Eugene Ysaye - arranged for marimba by Aaron Nix
"You Gotta Call Mama Every Night" - by Dick Hyman - for choir and jazz trio
