ACE - Sewing Basics, All Levels (small class size)
This class is for students who want to learn basic sewing. We will cover the use of the sewing machine, necessary supplies and we will create simple projects. Week 1 will cover various aspects of operating a sewing machine and materials needs for week 2. If you have a machine, please bring it. In weeks 2 – 5, students will learn how to read & cut out a pattern, insert a zipper, use rotary cutters and much more.
Supplies to bring: Fabric shears, pins & pincushion, seam/sewing gauge, tape measure, and seam ripper. If you have your own machine, please bring it so you can learn exactly how your machine works.
