ACE - Introduction to Conversational Japanese, Part 1
Learn to speak Japanese conversationally by listening and repeating what you hear. The language concepts will be explained in easy-to-understand terms (no "past provisional causative verb form" terminology). Course includes some discussion of Japanese history and culture as they relate to the language. You already know many Japanese words because they have been borrowed from English; they're just pronounced a little differently because some English sounds aren't used in Japanese. The sounds of the Japanese language will be presented in the same letters we use in English for ease of understanding. " Ima kara Nihongo o naraimasho." "Let's start learning Japanese now." Classes are 10 sessions, 4/23/25 - 6/25/2025.
