Temple Sinai Holocaust Remembrance Concert
The timing is significant as Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, falls the following week. It is a day to commemorate the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust during World War II.
This powerful concert, performed by French pianist Demitri Malignan and American soprano Lily Arbisser, as part of a national tour, sheds light on the irreparable loss of Jewish classical composers during the Holocaust. "Missing Voices" is a vital act of cultural restitution, bringing powerful, forgotten voices back to the stage.
There will be a Sips and Sweets Reception following the 75-minute concert.
