The Rainbow Family Resource Center: 1st Annual Play & Learn Fair!
The Rainbow Family Resource Center is pleased to announce our first annual Play & Learn Fair in partnership with the fantastic Santa Cruz Children's Museum of Discovery!
This free, all-ages, family-focused event connects families to much needed services while inviting the community to explore one of our hidden treasures- The MOD! The Museum of Discovery is a play museum dedicated to whole child learning and we're honored to have personally worked alongside them to address inclusion in their museum space.
The museum's exhibits will be open for exploration throughout this event and you can find vendors from several local organizations eager and excited to answer your questions and get your family enrolled in free and low-cost services. Vendors include Positive Discipline Community Resources, Raices y Carino, Triple P, SPIN, CCAH, Parents Helping Parents, Modern Woodmen, Little Fish Swim School, Mindful LEP, Messy Play, and more.
In the presentation room, we will have speech therapists, PT's, and other child and developmental specialists giving presentations and leading Q&A's from 10:30 onward, so come with your burning questions about adaptive care and meeting your needs!
We are running an art contest through May and June, so stay tuned for prize winners to be announced at 12pm during the fair!
Food and drinks have been graciously provided by Cruise Coffee, J+M Bagles, and Olive Garden.
