Hoops and Scoops
Friday September 20th from 2 to 7pm The Penny Ice Creamery will host the first annual Hoops and Scoops event on the 900 block of Cedar Street in Downtown Santa Cruz. Everyone is welcome to show off their hula hoop skills and enjoy watching the hula hoop moves of others. Performances from community groups, music DJd by our friends at Redwood Records and a separate “little hoopers” zone for the younger hula hoopers make this an entertaining and family friendly event. No purchase is necessary to participate but if you bring your own hula hoop you will be treated to free marshmallow fluff when you purchase a scoop at The Penny Ice Creamery.
