Pacific Collegiate School presents...The Drowsy Chaperone
In this musical, a lonely Broadway fanatic known as Man in Chair escapes his sadness by playing a rare recording of The Drowsy Chaperone, bringing the musical’s extravagant world to life in his apartment. The story follows showgirl Janet Van De Graaff who plans to leave her career for marriage, only to find her own producer, a pair of gangsters, and a secret lover scheming to stop her. Amid the chaos, her drowsy chaperone, an absent-minded widow, and a ditzy chorus girl add to the mayhem, turning the wedding into a whirlwind of mischief and musical comedy.
