Inter|Act Spoken Word Open Mic with Featured Poet Helena Rae
Are you ready to get your poetry on? Join us on May 6, 2025 at Satori Arts for Inter|Act, a FREE spoken word open mic night, from 7-9 pm, featuring Helena Rae.
Helena Rae Haven is a poet, visual artist, activist, and bodyworker who calls coastal California their home. Their first poetry chapbook, Oranges, was published in 2023. In 2024 they conceptualized, designed, & published Full Service Zine. Full Service features the poetry & art of over a dozen sex workers around the country who distributed the zines to raise funds for organizations supporting sex workers' rights. Helena Rae's personal work has been historically inspired by ineffable themes of daughtership, queerness, & loss, but they're currently working on comedic & surrealist prose.
