This program is true to the Musical Soulmates Performers Collaborative Mission Statement: to represent and honor the foundational offerings to music by Black composers and songwriters, to cultivate authentic relationships among the performers and in community, and to radiate a vibrant presence modeling diversity and delivering empowerment, healing and joy.
Musical Soulmates is a nonprofit, 501 c3 tax exempt public charity. Musical Soulmates nurtures the common good by bringing community together and cultivates healing and joy in the process and performance of music:
Musical Soulmates centers local Black performers, Black composers and songwriters from all over,
and aspires to serve and engage BIPOC youth and young adults of Santa Cruz and Watsonville though its programming..
