Bookshop Santa Cruz is thrilled to welcome Alison Bechdel, the celebrated and beloved New York Times bestselling author of the modern classic Fun Home and the groundbreaking comic strip Dykes to Watch Out For. Bechdel, creator of The Bechdel Test, will share her new book Spent: A Comic Novel—a laugh-out-loud, brilliant, and passionately political work of autofiction.
This ticketed event will take place at The Rio Theatre and is cosponsored by Santa Cruz Pride and The Diversity Center.
