A reception for the artist will be held on Saturday, November 8, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Visitors can also meet Yvonne at the gallery on Saturday, November 1; Monday, November 10; and by appointment. The studio works for the exhibit are from reference photos, imaginings, and personal experiences. Each painting suggests a path of imagination, emotion, or discovery -- whether through the image itself, or the title that accompanies it. Yvonne explains: "I invite the viewer to embark on a journey through this exhibit. My hope is that each piece encourages personal reflection, allowing the viewer to see their own story within the movement, color, and atmosphere of the work." The works presented in the show are painted in traditional watercolor style, layering transparent watercolors wet into wet to build excitement while reserving the contrasting lights.
