Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority — Interpretive Host Training — February/March
This training qualifies volunteers to represent the Authority as Community Outreach Volunteers at large-scale public events like the Perseid meteor shower and Open Access events. It also prepares participants for trail patrol and participation as part of the Habitat Protection Team at Máyyan 'Ooyákma. Volunteers will have the chance to practice hands-on scenarios and connect with other participants. All new volunteers need to attend 1 day of each weekend training offered.
Saturday, February 22 or Sunday, February 23 (10:00 am - 4:00 pm) at Máyyan ‘Ooyákma – Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve
