Affordable Housing Month Keynote Event
Housing Santa Cruz County (HSCC) proudly welcomes Secretary Tomiquia Moss, secretary of California's Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency, and Dr. Sam Tsemberis, PhD, creator of the Housing First model, as keynote speakers for its 2025 Affordable Housing Month Keynote Event. Both will share individual remarks and join a thought-provoking panel discussion focused on Santa Cruz County's bold opportunities to address its housing challenges and create lasting solutions.
HSCC invites the community, housing advocates, and members of the press to this important conversation with two of the nation’s most respected leaders in housing equity and innovation.
Affordable Housing Month is a statewide initiative held each May to educate, inspire, and mobilize communities across California. This year’s theme for Santa Cruz County, “Housing for a Stronger Future,” underscores HSCC’s commitment to advancing solutions that support inclusive, thriving neighborhoods.
