You will meet new friends and strengthen existing bonds necessary for solving homelessness.
The new discussion format will focus on building community. This is not a passive event, it’s an active participatory experience.
We will examine the intersection of housing insecurity and homelessness with various aspects of individual identity – including race, gender, ability, age, sexuality, and more – and how these identities interact to create unique experiences.
• You will understand how your interest and investment in other social justice movements relates directly to the movement to resolve homelessness.
• You will meet other people in our community who share your passion for the equitable and just treatment of all people.
• You will be joined in a circle with fellow community members, experts on the topic, and people with lived experience of homelessness
This year, we will be hosting Neighbors for Neighbors at three local library locations: Capitola, Branciforte and the Watsonville public library. We are thrilled to offer this program in YOUR neighborhood. Join us at your local library.
