Linden Tree Books Partners with Access Books Bay Area to host Book Drive to Benefit Under-Resourced

Linden Tree Books in Los Altos at 265 State Street is partnering with Access Books Bay Area, a non-profit organization that provides public elementary schools in under-resourced districts with new books and a refreshed library space. Both organizations believe all children, regardless of socioeconomic status, deserve a welcoming school library with new, culturally relevant pleasure reading books to discover a love of reading. Many Bay Area schools remain inequitably funded, impacting their school libraries, and you can help Access Books Bay Area to bridge that divide. Support Access Books Bay Area and Linden Tree Books simultaneously by buying books or gift cards and adding them to their in-store blue donation mailbox. These donations will directly benefit Access Books Bay Area’s library refurbishment projects, which aim to bridge the literacy gap for K-8 students in under-funded Bay Area public schools.
