U.S. Coast Guard Station Golden Gate Auxiliary Water Safety Fair, Saturday, May 17th, 10:00am-1:00pm
Free family friendly annual Water Safety Fair sponsored by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary with support of Station Golden Gate. Activities and demonstrations include:
-Visits and tours of USCG rescue 47' Motor Life Boats and Auxiliary patrol boats
-Coast Guard Dogs (our K-9 team with handlers)
-Local fire, lifeguard, police, and sheriff first responders
-Marine Mammal Center Display
-Whale Entanglement Team Display
-Free Life Jacket giveaway (while supplies last)
-Free Clean Boating kits giveaway (while supplies last)
-Knot tying station
-Radio Communications facility display and practice
-Paddle Craft safety display
-Air Station San Francisco rescue helicopter demonstration
